S.E. Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche wird als die 10. Inkarnation der Siddha-Übertragungslinie des Tashi Päldschor (1457-1525) angesehen. Die Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoches sind traditionell die Lehrer der Karmapas. Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche wurde 1964 in Parn Taktsang, Bhutan geboren.
Von frühem Alter an studierte und praktizierte er mit verschiedenen hochrangigen Lehrern der Karma Kagyu- und Nyingma-Tradition wie S.H. dem 16. Karmapa und S.H. Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, seinen beiden Wurzel-Gurus, von welchen er viele Einweihungen in höchstes Yoga-Tantra sowie Mahamudra- und Dzogchen-/ Maha-Ati-Unterweisungen erhielt.
An der Nalanda-Universtität in Rumtek schloss er ein neunjähriges Studium zum Mahapandita-Grad ab. Seit dem Verscheiden von Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche, mit dem er den Benchen Klöstern und Zentren vorstand, ruht diese umfassende Verantwortung auf seinen Schultern.
Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche hat mehrere Drei-Jahres-Retreats im Benchen-Clear-Light-Retreat-Zentrum angeleitet und in Parping, Nepal. Dort hat Rinpoche auch eine Kloster-Universität zum Lehren der buddhistischen Philosophie errichtet, welche er auch leitet. Rinpoche reist durch viele Länder Asiens und Europas, um den Dharma zu lehren und Übertragungen zu geben.

H.E. Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche is regarded as the 10th reincarnation of Tashi Pädjor (1457-1525). The Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoches are traditionally the teachers of the Karmapas. Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche was born in 1964, in Parn Taktsang, Bhutan.
From an early age on he studied and practised with high teacher of the Karma Kagyu and Nyingma tradition, such as the 16th Karmapa and HH Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, his two root gurus, from which he received transmissions for the highest Yogatantra and teachings on Mahamudra and Dzogchen/ Maha Ati.
He completed his nine year long studies at the Nalanda University in Rumtek (India) with the degree of a Mahapandita (Great Scholar). Since the passing of Khyabje Tenga Rinpoche, with whom he lead the Benchen monasteries and centres, this expansive responsability lies with him alone.
Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche has lead several three year retreats in the Benchen Clear Light Retreat Centre in Parping, Nepal. He there also established and leads a monastic university, dedicated to the education in buddhist philosophy. Rinpoche travels many countries in Asia and Europe to give transmissions and teach the Dharma.
